A little over a year ago I found my life had come to a screaching hault. Here I was, at 35, a woman who had once a successful career, suddenly in a mental institution staring blankly into the face of a doctor who was telling me I had been diagnosed with severe depresion, ptsd and general anxiety disorder. No money, alone, and worst of all without any hope, I was assigned a case worker who, (let's just say was less than a worker, was now telling me that because it was nearly Christmas I would not find any shelter to take me at this cold time of year. She did write down a couple of suggestions, one of them involved staying in the lobby of a nearby mental health organizaton to keep warm. Even better she said, "It's open 24 hours so you can sit in the lobby when it get's really cold at night". Finally, she wrote two words on a the sheet of nearly blank paper that read, "Survival Skills!". Now, anyone who has had severe depression knows that those words mean nothing at all. Still depressed I don't even think they evoked fear at that time. Then I heard a voice. No, really an actual voice of another patient speaking on the phone. I only heard her part of the conversation, and I couldn't even tell you what it was in her voice that I heard, but it sent a feeling through me that I had not felt in a while...hope. It ended up being Neal Klein on the other end of the phone. After getting his number from the other patient, my life changed. I met Neal who came down, the very next morning, even though he runs several wonderful homes, all amenities, even food included. I felt at home. The home was not coed, which can be terribly dangerous, but all women. They came from all backgrounds and had different illnesses, but they all were safe and even felt loved. Today, I no longer have my sever depression on my back. I have a good job and a brighter outlook on life. To find a home that will not simply keep you safe, and eternally ill, but help you find a better life find Picture Perfect. It doesn't matter if you are currently hospitalized, stranded, very ill or just not yourself and heading towards a bad future, call Neal at Pictue Perfect. He has a cell that he may not answer, but if you call and leave a message, he will always call you back. His number is 512-296-7995. He has homes for men and women, young or old. I want someone else to get the help I did. Remaining sick for the rest of your life is not an option. 296-7995 His name is Neal.
